Terra Catering is a dream come true for private chef Bruno Conti who migrated from Genoa to Byron Bay in search of good waves and relaxed north-coast lifestyle.

Inspired by Pacific Ocean seafood and fresh produce of the Mt. Warning caldera, the magic of this infamous “Rainbow Region” is married with age-old traditions of the Italian peninsula. Experience epicurean delight from oyster bar to charcuterie, hand made seafood pasta to Fiorentina grill steak. Whether an intimate event in the comfort of your home or a wedding or corporate catering at one of Byron’s finest venues, Terra will take care of every detail for your special occasion.

Bruno has since pursued a successful career in the culinary arts, working in various venues around NSW, establishing his own name around the Byron Shire. Bruno brings traditional Italian cuisine to the table. Conti’s latest venture, THE HUT is located in the beautiful Byron Hinterland, Possum Creek and is a tribute to Mediterranean Cuisine. Elegant service and the finest seasonal ingredients are just some of the key features to expect from Terra Catering.

All our guests kept coming up to us to say how next-level and delicious everything was. Special shout out to the scallops and the steak, both our faves and they did not disappoint. We cannot fault the wonderful team at Terra Catering, we had Bruno cater for our wedding in November 2024 and guests were left speechless at the incredible feast! After dining at his restaurant The Hut in Byron Bay, we ended up changed catering vendors and it was a decision we don’t regret. The team were incredibly flexible in making any changes with the menu, and were also so great at providing service throughout the night - including mixing up some incredible cocktails. People are still - two months later - raving about the food we had. Incredible taste, perfect presentation and with 180 guests it was no easy feat to be sure!
